Carrageenan is a type of water-soluble fibre that is extracted from seaweeds and red algae. It has become an essential ingredient that is used in a wide variety of food items like flavored milk, whipping cream, bakery products, etc. In fact, it is regarded as a food-grade polysaccarhide that is used in the form of a stabilizer for products like soy milk, ice cream, and so on.

What Is It Used For?
